The Kaiserstuhl
The fertile soil and mild climate make the Kaiserstuhl one of the most outstanding wine-growing regions in Germany. First we visit the European city of Breisach high above the Rhine with its two famous sparkling wine cellars. Can we continue without a visit to the cellars? If so, the next destination is the idyllic town of Burkheim. Here there is the only cork-making museum in Germany. We will finish our trip through narrow loess alleys in the wine cellar of a regonal winemaker.
