Ulrike Peissl
As a native of the north, I was drawn to the south at an early age. My wanderlust and adventurous spirit led me to many different countries. Getting to know languages and mentalities has always been a hobbyhorse of mine. But despite all the desire to travel, I always enjoy returning to our beautiful Freiburg. Where else in Germany can you find a better combination of a mild, sunny climate, fine wine and delicious culinary specialities than in our border triangle?

As a Münchner Kindl, I love my adopted home of Freiburg. As a studied archaeologist, I have been travelling for more than 18 years in different countries and regions. My motto: "If there's no time left to laugh when it comes to art and culture, then I'm doing something wrong!"

What our customers say
"We were all very impressed by the beautiful city of Freiburg. And what luck we had with the weather. Your tour was also just wonderful and we all enjoyed it super much."
"We all enjoyed the competent and extremely friendly guidance by Ms Senn. She surprised us in part with facts and news that even good connoisseurs of the city did not have at the ready. We especially enjoyed the introduction to the nuns' crypt, a place we all did not know yet. The conversations during the stops in the restaurants were also very interesting, there was a definite personal touch, so that the time flew by. The food prepared was very tasty and varied and so was the way it was served."
"At this point I would like to thank you again for the great guided tour - my colleagues really enjoyed it. And although you had "locals" in this group, you were able to show them all unknown places. The drinks on offer were also very popular!"
"Herewith I would like to express great praise on behalf of all participants. The city tour was well-founded, humorous and very entertaining. Mr Baborie was excellent at keeping the guests "on their toes" with his explanations.
"We would like to thank you again for the successful city tours by your guides. It was a very interesting day in the beautiful city of Freiburg, to which the knowledgeable and descriptive explanations in a pleasant atmosphere contributed greatly. Gladly again!"
"We had a "Baden Tapas" tour with Julia on Saturday. We would like to take this opportunity to thank her once again! A very likeable guide with whom we spent a very nice and entertaining afternoon! Everything went very well!
"A big thumbs up to your city guide Ms Julia Senn. She really does a great job and the participants were hanging on her every word. She also has the large groups very well under control and gives a linguistically great presentation. It's just a pleasure to listen to her.
"I would like to thank you very much for the great chocolate tour. Ms Koerner picked us up on time at the town hall and made the tour very interesting. The mixture between knowledge about Freiburg and chocolate was just brilliant. The delights on the tour were very tasty and well mixed, there was everything. Chocolate, cake and coffee and finally red wine with chocolate. Super delicious. We work colleagues had a great afternoon and lots of fun."
"On behalf of our guests, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much and, of course, especially Ms. Heike Tiefenbach together with colleague as our guide. We had chosen the "Baden Tapas Tour" as our company event for 4.4. and not only the external guests but also the participants from the region were able to experience new locations as well as new nice corners of >>Freiburg.<<. The historical culture was not in the foreground, but it was not neglected either. The culinary delights - starting in the Mediterranean area before switching to the typical Baden cuisine - were very varied and I explicitly include the nuts that Mrs Tiefenbach conjured up from her bag. The concept itself was essential for the success of the event, as the participants were able to constellate themselves again and again in the stations as well as during the tour. With their tongues loosened by wine, everyone got into conversation with everyone else, and that was exactly the goal! I am already looking forward to the next opportunity."
